art & life

This section comes from my heart. It is at once and ode to the art of everyday living, a praise of ordinariness, what caught my attention, food for thought, images of my observations from nature which is for me an inestimable teacher. It is also nourished  by ideas and ways of seeing, favored excerpts collected from my readings. This section is to share. I have no agenda other than sharing what resonate on the sinuous path of inner quest and transformation.

L’homme qui coupait des arbres

As you might already know, my son Zacharie Potvin Williams is part of a contest organized by the National Gallery of Canada. This is a friendly  invitation to vote before May 5 (if you belong to Facebook) and for you to spread the word. Zacharie did a Chinese ink drawing on the problematic of deforestation. He is in 17th position right now. So close to his goal!

The 12 artworks with the most votes will be displayed at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, from June 10 to July 5, 2013.  A jury of experts will come to the Gallery to select the top three winners.

Go to:  soyouwanttobeanartist.ca/‎  and vote by opening your Facebook account through the icone on the top right of the screen, accept terms and conditions and submit your vote.

Thanks to all of you who already voted or will be voting!
